Get Your Buddhi on The Mat!

National Yoga Month has come and gone, but that doesn’t mean you should stop celebrating! Instead, celebrate #yogaeverydamnday

It’s getting to be that time of year when our motivation to get moving is quickly declining. Along with that, it’s clinically proven that our mood declines along with it. Let’s be honest, we all have bad days. Sometimes we feel like sulking and staying in bed to watch Netflix all day. Don’t let those feelings get you down!!

Recently, I’ve been feeling this way. In order to melt away these feeling I like to read motivational quotes on Pinterest, and most importantly, get moving! Here are some of my favorites:

image2 image3 image4 image5Another one of my other favorite things to do is read. One of my favorite authors recently is Thich Naht Hahn. His books are extremely uplifting and remind you to focus on your breath, the present moment, and to enjoy life.

To completely turn my mood around I always go to yoga. There are an abundance of health benefits associated with yoga, both physical and mental. Yoga allows me to focus on my breathing throughout the day in good moments, bad moments, stressful moments, and at all times. Your practices in yoga can be carried into your everyday life in order to make you a better you.

Yoga is also tons of fun! What better way to get exercise than to have fun and go to yoga. So get out of bed, turn off Netflix, and get your Buddhi on the mat!!
